Entry 30 Networking Project

Update

At this point in the project I have finished configuring ip phones for local communication within a campus
the phone only work on ipv4 and not ipv6 on packet tracer. I am currently working on network address translation NAT . I may dual stack ipv4 with ipv6 on the central campus at  the pint where the dmz is located this will give access to the ipv4 users on the other  network to the servers.

entry 29 Networking project

Update

At this point i am finishing voip and i am finishing of implementing static routes an working on ipv6 to ipv4 communication. this is an almost complete project i am also working on the final report and the presentation. at this pint i may be able to setup ntp an aaa server if i have time at the end this is if packet tracer supports it and the hardware i am using in the classes will run  it without problems.

Entry 28 Networking project

Update

VOIP work on packet tracer i was using the wrong route on packet tracer and i have got it working with IPV4 but for IPV6 it dose not work the router taht is used is not compadable with IPV6 which means this is a limitaion of packet tracer this is at the near end point. Ospf is working on Packet tracer between campuses across both tunnel and frame-relay this is just for testing it only need to run across the tunnel because the tunnel is across  frame-relay.

Entry 27 Networking Project

Update

Today is the day milestone 2 is due I have adjacency working between router on the edge of each campus between the tunnels and the frame relay addresses. I was having problem so I erased the ospf configurations and redid them and then everything seemed to work  I am unable to explain why that happened but i am glad it is now working after an hour of doing that it was not time wasted. this is a good result adjacency still dose not happen between routers on each side of the ASA

Entry 26 Networking project what I have done so far

What I have done so far
Milestone 1 Made up the design
Milestone 1 Setup  Dhcp for ipv4 on north and south and dhcp for ipv6 on central
Milestone 1 I have setup vlans for management, students, academic staff, and admin staff.
Milestone 1 /2 Have setup intervlan routing on some of the routers
Milestone 2 setup Ospf and check adjacencies
Milestone 2 Setup the vlans on that asas for dmz, outside and inside
Milestone 2 I have setup frame relay between campuses
Milestone 2 I have setup gre tunnels over frame relay

I have attempted to configure
Milestone 2 An ips this did not work
Milestone 2 Voip also did not work it is possible I will and will be configured
Milestone 2 IPsec VPN does not work on packet tracer so I had to go with  GRE Vpn

This point is milestone  2 due 26 September  2014
At this point dhcp is working alright and I can ping  from end host to end host one it has received and address via dhcp. Pinging Through the asa is hard and there is no sign of connectivity between inside to outside at this point. I have not set up many access-lists for the reason that they could interrupt with the testing and pings. I have made the tunnels and can ping from one side to another. But each time I set up all the campuses together I must reapply the source of the tunnel for it to activate.
I am also attempting to simulate an external web server for internet connectivity testing  the internet connection is at the central campus and for north and south the need to access it via the central connection to them
Ip phone will be setup as i now know how i can get it working i need to use a different router on packet tracer
